Technical Information

AC Doors has an extensive range of sections for all applications, from the most common Standard range to the Heritage range. Customers can choose either beveled or moulded finishes to each window. Unless otherwise specified, all windows will be fitted with brass fittings and not satin chrome. Customers may choose either a friction or peg stay option for top and side-hung windows.

Mock Sash Windows

All sliding windows are made to sizes as required, fully assembled and complete with brass rollers, running on a solid brass track with timber cill. Large and small (cottage) panes are fitted with glazing beads. Flush bolts and handles are available as optional extras. All hardware supplied will conform to SABS glass specifications and requirements.

Cottage Pane Side-Hung Windows

All the below casement windows are available in Standard, Prestige, Classic and Heritage range. Fanlights and other dimensions available on request. All windows come standard with brass fittings, satin chrome on request. All hardware supplied will conform to SABS glass specifications. Please specify at time of order if laminated glass is required. Moulded glasing beads supplied as standard, bevelled is an option.

Flat Arch Windows

All the below are available in Standard, Prestige, Classic and Heritage range. Fanlights and other dimensions available on request.
