Roses and peacocks abound in the large gardens.A golf driving range, evening game drives and a cultural village are ideal extra mural activities for conference delegates. These facilities are within easy driving distance of the hotel. An ideal venue for conferences which generally take over the entire hotel. The conference facilities offer the most modern equipment for everyday conference requirements and accommodate groups of up to 200 day delegates. Each of the large bedrooms is individually and tastefully decorated. They are really bedsitting rooms many with their own fireplaces. The Hertford is one of the most popular wedding venues in the Gauteng area. A most charming country church seats up to 180 guests. Hertford offers a choice of five reception venues accommodating up to 200 guests. No wedding is to small. Groups of only 10 people are gladly accommodated. A complimentary suite is supplied for the bride to dress in on the day of the wedding and for the couple to use as their honeymoon suite. The hotel and restaurant is open 7 days a week and is renowned for Sunday luncheons. Good, wholesome, undisguised food is served in a most relaxed country atmosphere. |
