Secure PIN Code Entry
The GCR420 offers unrivaled security for the PIN-code
entry process, taking full advantage of the smart-card's built-in security. The user
enters the PIN code directly on the keyboard, and the entered value is then validated by
the smart card. No PC processing is required for this operation, thus eliminating
potential breaches of security. Such security is essential for transactions involving
user-critical information.
This feature makes GCR420 ideal for applications such as
computer access control, Internet security, and home banking.
