Digital Copy Quality
The 3235 and 3245 use the latest ‘scan once, copy many times’ digital copying
process, as you would expect from systems bearing the Aficio symbol. The result is
exceptionally sharp 400 dpi copies time after time. If you are copying photographs,
halftones or graphics, special original copy modes guarantee the same superb results.

Continuous Copying
With both copiers your high volume docu-ment demands can
be completed in one fast, continuous copy run. With all the paper storage options used,
they have a massive paper capacity of 3,550 sheets. An automatic tray switching facility
means paper supplies can be replenished without interrupting the copy run. Add to this
very fast first copy times and speeds of 35 A4 copies per minute for the 3235 and 45
copies per minute for the 3245 and even the longest copy run will be completed swiftly and
smoothly.
Double-Sided Copying
Double-sided copies can be made quickly and automatically
from single-sided or two-sided originals, saving paper and storage space.
Effortless Electronic
Sorting
Take all the time and effort out of collating multi-page documents by hand with this
invaluable feature. By scanning the original document once and holding all the images in
memory, the first complete set is then printed out and the images are rotated
automatically through 90° and the second set printed out. This continuous process of
delivering A4 and then A4R offset copy sets into the receiving tray makes collection easy.
Automatic Image Rotation
This is another advantage of scanning the image into
memory before copying. An original placed long edge first can be rotated automatically
through 90° to print out on paper positioned short edge first, the other way round. This
means that your originals do not have to be positioned in same direction as your paper
supply.
Creative Editing and Image Manipulation
The ability to add creative visual impact to your documents is literally at your
fingertips with the 3235 and 3245. A wealth of digital image manipulation and editing
features includes – repeat copying, positive/negative switching, double copying,
centre/border erase, a wide zoom range and cover insertion.
Copy Hard Disk (Optional)
With the copy hard disk option, not only do the copiers
print in greyscale in all modes, it also opens a unique archiving facility that enables
you to scan and store up to 16 files or 32 A4 pages of regularly used documentation on the
hard disk, and then recall them for future use at any time.
Reversing Automatic Document Feeder (Optional)
The RADF has a capacity of 50 sheets and allows you to
feed in automatically both single-sided and double-sided multi-page originals in one
simple, straightforward operation. What is more, digital technology means you can scan
over 100 A4 pages into memory and then run them off in one complete job.
Paper Bank and Large Capacity Tray (Optional)
To make the most of the 3235 and 3245 you can add the
optional paper bank of 2 x 500 sheet trays and the large capacity tray which holds 1,500
sheets to achieve a total paper capacity of 3,550 sheets.
1,000 or 3,000 Sheet Finishers (Optional)
On-line, professional style finishing is easy with these
two finisher options. The 1,000 sheet finisher can collate and staple documents in one
quick, easy operation. The high volume 3,000 sheet finisher, only available with the 3245,
has an additional automatic hole punch option and multi-position stapling.
1 Bin Tray (Optional)
This option enables you to have a third paper output
area, allowing you to channel copy, fax and print jobs into their own designated receiving
trays.
