CREATIVITY AND VERSATILITY BY DESIGN

The Gestetner 5450 brings you first class print quality, together with the ability to add high impact designs and colour to everyday jobs as well as special promotional items, especially when the optional Editing Function is chosen.

You can overlay separate tint and text images and print them onto a single sheet. Two originals can be printed onto one page. The Stamp Function enables you to superimpose date, numbering and default stamp marks, such as ‘private’ or ‘priority’, on the original. And, you can register original stamp images through the scanner.

As standard, the 5450 has Tint Mode to highlight text or images, even without the editing option. A choice of eleven colour options, including black, add eye-catching spot colour. Directional Magnification stretches or contracts horizontal and vertical dimensions independently to fit any layout. Plus, there’s a zoom facility for overall enlargement or reduction.

A newly developed dual cylinder system and paper clamp mechanism, together with new master and ink formula, give you 400 dpi resolution print clarity and accurate registration. Text/Photo and Pencil modes ensure perfect results even from mixed or light originals. Automatic Image Rotation eliminates paper wasting misprints.

The 5450 also has a 1,000 sheet capacity, an unrivalled first A4 print time of just 12 seconds, a top speed of 120 prints per minute and takes up to A3 sized paper. A unique auto paper feed timing control gives you jam-free feeding of a wide variety of paper types. Even three dimensional or thick, bound originals are no problem. A booktop copying facility with Margin Erase guarantees perfect prints. With the optional 30 sheet automatic document feeder originals are placed face-up, so you can instantly match prints to originals.

A revolutionary tapeless job separator off-sets top sheets to divide sets and job groups, eliminating the cost of conventional tape markers. Economy Mode can save you up to 10% on ink consumption. When making multiple sets of prints for distribution between departments, the time saving Class Mode allows you toprogram the different numbers required or to select pre-programmed groups. It adds up toexceptional cost and time efficiency.

Anyone can operate the 5450 with complete confidence. A user-friendly control panel with a large LCD displays text and graphic images for easy-to-understand instructions, allowing you to access all the 5450’s many features. Print image position and paper alignment can also be changed from the control panel.
