SUPER FAST TRANSMISSION SPEED
With a transmission time of only 3 seconds per A4 page,
the 9873 will rapidly send your faxes to destinations around the world. This faster, more
efficient transmission speed is a result of the 9873’s new Super G3 technology which
results in a significant reduction on transmission times, adding up to huge savings in
costs, especially on international fax traffic.
FAST, STREAMLINE PERFORMANCE
A 30-sheet Automatic Document Feeder, together with a
scan speed of only 2.8 seconds per A4 page, means multi-page documents can be simply and
quickly scanned into the 9873’s 512KB standard memory for processing. This saves you
both time and effort, leaving you free to carry on with other important jobs. Fast,
one-touch transmission is also conveniently at your fingertips with 30 Quick, 50 Speed and
5 Group Dial keys.
FLEXIBLE PAPER HANDLING
No need to worry about paper running out either. The 9873
has a standard paper capacity of 250 A4 sheets. For even longer uninterrupted usage,
there’s an optional 500 sheet paper feed unit which takes the 9873’s capacity up
to a sizeable 750 sheets.
FAX MEMORY EXPANSION CARDS (OPTIONAL)
The standard 512KB memory of the 9873 can be upgraded
with either 1MB or 2MB Fax Expansion Card options. These will ensure that incoming faxes
will not be missed should the 9873 run out of paper, or if an exceptionally high volume of
incoming and outgoing messages exceeds the standard 512KB memory.
THE CONVENIENCE OF DUAL ACCESS
This is another productive, time saving feature for the
busy workplace. Dual Access enables you to scan in another document for transmission,
whilst the 9873 is still in the process of sending or receiving a fax.
USER AND ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY
The 9873, with its compact, space saving front operation
design, will fit comfortably into any office. Access to all its many fax features is
straightforward, even for first time operators, thanks to the easy to use control panel.
Environmental features include a low, 2W power consumption in "Energy Saver
Mode," to further enhance cost-savings. And a single, easy to replace, All-In-One
cartridge means fewer supplies to order and store.
CONNECTIVITY KIT FOR PC FAXING, PRINTING AND SCANNING (OPTIONAL)
With the optional connectivity kit, you can link the 9873
to your PC. This turns your 9873 into a personal, high quality, 6 pages per minute 600 dpi
laser printer and a 200 dpi scanner. You can even send or receive faxes from the desktop
through your PC. For added convenience, the optional 100 sheet multi-purpose tray allows
you to print on envelopes and non-standard paper sizes. A large number of the 9873’s
features can also be operated from your workstation when the PC connectivity kit is
installed. For example, the stored fax numbers in the Quick, Speed and Group Dial keys can
be instantly updated or deleted by a simple click of the mouse.
