NC Paint / Primer (Available in 1ℓl and 5ℓ)

NC GLOSSLINE

A single pack, fast drying, nitrocellulose based range of toners & clears. The use of automotive grade pigments in this range ensures that the NC Glossline range offers the end-user excellent hold-out on colour, good tinting strengths and excellent flexibility. The high tensile strength of the film, the excellent gloss and adhesion as well as the extensibility and durability of the finished coating are added benefits of this product.

NC PRIMERS

A single pack, nitrocellulose based primer with excellent drying and sanding properties. This Primer offers excellent adhesion and flexibilty to mild steel components. Higher films builds per coat and excellent levelling together with an unlimited potlife makes this product quick and easy to use.

Stone Chip Primer

Waterbased stone chip primer that acts as a shock absorber preventing the chipping of paint.

Stone Chip primer is very effective for under wheelarches and the underside of the car. It's a plasticised coating that remains flexible so stones tend to bounce off rather than chip the paint coating. It's sprayed using a schultz gun and should go on with a thick rounded orange peel finish.

Even with a cellulose paint overcoat the stuff is effective. I used it in the wheelarches of my MGA over 15 years ago overpainted in cellulose body colour and it's still working fine. Underseal used on later projects has already worn away in exposed areas.

Repairability is better for stone chip than bitumen based underseals - it will overpaint, so no need to remove every last bit when carrying out a repair.
