Chlorodifluoromethane(HCFC-22), a colorless gas at room temperature, is a colorless, non-toxic, nonflammable and transparent liquid under the pressure created by itself. It has excellent thermal and chemical stabilities and no corrosivity to metals. Its main applications include refrigerant (-80 grade),
raw materials for PTEE production and intermediate for Halon 1211 production		 HFC-507, a blend refrigerant of HFC-125 and HFC-143. Allied Signal Inc.'s patent number is AZ-50. Mainly it is a substitute of R502, used specially in Iow tempreture re-frigerating system like showcase and freezer.
