All examinations are written at an examination centre, usually a technical college.  A local secretary appointed at every examination centre, represents the Department in making all arrangements for the examinations and supplying candidates with information.

No formal examinations are written in the Elementary Technisa Studies.  Evaluation takes place in the form of assignments and an open book examination.

Students must study the examination letter sent out with each set of study material attentively.

Students registering for examination have to submit a student card as proof of enrolment with TECHNISA.  Students should therefore ensure that they are issued with a student card when registering with TECHNISA.

It is crucial to note that it is the students' own responsibility to:

~ register for the examination at least one week before the closing date for the applicable examination at the nearest technical college or examination centre;

~ pay the required examination registration fee at the centre where the examination will be written; and

~ obtain the examination dates at the college where the examination will be written.
