AIR NEW ZEALAND
Awards for Voyager members

The good news from Air New Zealand is that Voyager members can now use Voyager miles for award travel on Air New Zealand's domestic flights (within New Zealand)!
There are two types of awards:

1. The first is where the domestic flight on Air New Zealand is not in conjunction with an Air New Zealand international flight. This award costs 15 000 Voyager miles in Economy Class and 22 500 Voyager miles in Business Class.
2. The second award is where the domestic flight on Air New Zealand is in conjunction with an Air New Zealand international flight. This awards costs only 10,000 Voyager miles for travel in Economy Class and 15,000 in Business Class.
Both these awards are for return flights. From 1 July 1998, Voyager members can also earn miles on all domestic services of Air New Zealand.

Reduced awards on
Lufthansa

Good news for Voyager members burning off their Voyager miles on Lufthansa awards, is that as from 1 April 1998, some award levels were reduced:

Portugal:
An award for a return Economy Class flight between Germany and Portugal is only 25 000 miles and 35 000 miles for a Business Class return flight.

Tunisia and Morocco:
These awards now cost only: 40 000 miles for an Economy Class return flight and 50 000 for a Business Class flight.

Mexico:
To use an award flight in Economy Class on Lufthansa between Germany and Mexico is now 76 000 Voyager miles, 90 000 for a Business Class award and 140 000 miles for a First Class award.
