THE WILKINSON BRICK MAKER
HOW TO OPERATE THE MACHINE
1. Mix 1 wheel barrow of sand and cement (slightly dampened) and pour into feeding trough.
2. Pull back lever B. The machine is now ready to push mixture into brick-moulds.
3. Then level off sand and cement mixture with scraper.
4. N.B. Do not drop compactors into brick moulds when empty.
5. Drop lever B. Short strokes.
6. Repeat free fall movement with short fall actions until stopper touch the frame (6 - 7 times).
7. Bricks are now compact.
8. Leave compactors on bricks.
9. Pull lever A - machine will lift from bricks.
10. Shift machine and start with a new batch of bricks.
11. We recommend for bricks: 8 part river sand or ash, 2 parts building sand and 1 cement.
12. All units are avaiable with vibrators (optional)
N.B. Machine must be well washed after use. Dried cement on the machine causes unsatisfactory results.

To obtain best results, please note the following:
1. The 2 grease nipples must be smeared every day.
2. All hinges must be oiled regularly.
3. 10 Wheel barrows of sand and 2 packet of cement makes 360 bricks. (220 x 110 x 70mm).
