The authentic Mexican architecture in the form of stone arches, wooden floors, bright coloured murals and cosy Mexican Fire Place create an aesthetically pleasing environment for you to relax, let your hair down and sip on our famous Margarita’s as the fiesta that you will never will forget begins…

On arrival, you will be welcomed in true Mexican Style by our Senore or Senorita who guide you to your first destination at Cantina Tequila Roesbank. An area well protected by colorful walls with authentic Aztec designs. The whole feeling is Mexican with the wooden floors, stone wall architecture, railway sleepers and roaring fireplace. Our polite cocktail barmen will entice you into tasting one of our exotic cocktails, or for the not so daring a fully licensed bar is available. As the fiesta begins, our flaring cocktail barmen will entertain you with dazzling bar tricks and unbelievable flaring sequences that will leave you speechless. When all your guests have arrived, an Amigo will call for you to be seated.

At Cantina Tequila Rosebank, we offer a wide range of menus, which include platters, set menus, buffet and our unbelievable Ala Carte Menu. Our Ala Carte Menu includes authentic Mexican cuisine, as well other cuisine which includes the following:

AT YOUR TABLE YOU WILL FOUND THE FOLLOWING:
  • Nachos Chips served with our homemade Mexican Salsa. - A combination of tomatoes, onions and chilies. Guacamole (Fresh Avocado Dip) will be served for those who prefer it not quite so hot.
  • No Cantina Tequila would be the same without Jose Cuervo Gold Tequila, fermented and then distilled from the juicy heart of the blue agave plant, traditionally knocked back neat, with a suck of lime and a lick of salt.(For your account of course) Together with Jose Cuervo Tequila you are in for ‘more than an authentic’ Mexican experience…. so, please be careful!
  • Our friendly, vibrant Amigos will explain all there is to know about the menu. He will suggests jugs of Margarita, Sangria’s, Mexican Beers, house wines, shooters and cocktails.

THE MEAL
The scene is that of a Mexican Village, where friends and family gather around to enjoy our Mexican cuisine.

For starters,(Served to your table)
For those Amigos who prefer the not so spicy, we have our ‘home-made soup of the day’, served with hot bread. A deliciously prepared ‘spinach and Taco salad’ with cheddar cheese, mozerella cheese, croutons, vegetables, greens, Olive oil, garlic and lemon juice is served

For Main course,(Buffet)
  • ‘Beef and Chicken Fajita’, a traditional meal which includes succulent strips of beef or chicken, marinated in olive oil and garlic, grilled and served in with a tomato salsa.
  • ‘Burrito’, pure beef mince combined with Jallepino chilies, red pimento, green peppers, onions, butter beans, rolled in a soft flour tortilla with tomato salsa and cheese grilled on top. ‘Vegetable Burrito’ is prepared for our vegetarians.
  • ‘Seafood Paella’, which includes shrimps, calamari, Line fish, and mussels tossed with Mexican rice.
  • Chili-Con Carne, succulent cubes of beef marinated in olive oil and garlic, then fried together with refried beans, chillies and Cantina Tequila Spices.
  • Linguine Prima Vera, combination of mixed vegetables, stir-fried in light peri-peri olive oil served on a bed of fettuccine. Potato wedges in a cheese sauce.
  • ‘ Vegetables of the day’, a choice of two vegetables will be served.
  • Mexican Rice
  • On the side, tacos and tortillas will be served, together with all the condiments, which include salsa, Guacomole, Cream Chili, and Cantina’s homemade chili sauce.

FIESTA’TIME IN A BEEG WAY…
Live Bands from around the country flock to Cantina’s to entertain you through the day and the night. Obviously only the best are selected to perform, so as to ensure your fiesta is a memorable one. It is against the law if you do not get up and dance; those caught sitting down will be summonsed to the stage where copious amounts of Tequila will be guzzled down your throat. Music (sixties, seventies & Latino) is played before, between and after the band is finished. (Band schedules change form day to day, so please enquire if you require entertainment)

If an excellent venue, with all facilities, is what you need, you couldn’t make a better choice than the vibrant Cantina Tequila restaurant in bustling Rosebank. Having authentic Mexican architecture and décor, as well as good value for money food, Cantina Tequila is the perfect choice for lunches, dinners, Christmas parties and conferences.

Because of its unique atmosphere, the proud owners of Cantina Tequila had numerous requests for conference facilities. Because of this, they decided to add to their already impressive facilities and open a conference room. It is proving so much more convenient for everyone having a conference venue attached to a superb restaurant – no travelling and no catered-in’ food. The versatile conference room, aptly called the Gold Room, is designed for all types of corporate or private functions, including product launches, board meetings, cocktail parties, formal dinners, conferences or purely entertaining clients. The room has wall to wall carpeting, is soundproof and has its own private buffet and bar area. Another advantage is that, after your particular function ends, you can join in the festivities of the evening, where live bands, comedians and dancing forms part of the nightly entertainment.

The recent addition of the Big Screen to the Gold Room has proven to be very popular for all the sporting events. All major events will be broadcast in the Gold Room, with brilliant sound to create a stadium feeling. Lunch and dinner packages tailored to suit your needs are available with regards to booking your seat or table in the Gold Room.

Cantina Tequila Rosebank also caters for outside functions. They are your one-stop restaurant, as they will co-ordinate your entertainment, food, alcohol and beverage, equipment and marquee hire. You don’t have to look any further
