Our Background

JSJ SECURITY & CLEANING SERVICES was established in May 1999. The principle business being the provision of security and cleaning services within the borders of the Republic of South Africa to both natural and juristic persons.

 
Shareholders' Profile
Managing Member (Stanley Ziba)
He worked in the security industry for more than 10 years. During these years he held various positions before resigning to establish the Security Company. He specializes in the intelligence, electronic intelligence, special operations, consultancy and the implementation of security and surveillance solutions.
Financial Manager (Jack Mahlangu)
He worked in the private sector as a Sales Consultant and Administrator for a number of companies. He brought with him valuable experience in Administration and Management.

All firearms are registered when issued to officers. Firearm permits issued and inspected regularly to ensure proper control and safety standard.

Our minimum qualification requirement for officers is as follows:
• Minimum academic qualification Grade 10 prerequisite
• Security certificate grades E, D, C, B, A and N. K.P.
• Minimum age 19 years to maximum 55 years of age
• Physically fit and mentally sound
• Evaluated and screened by aptitude test

Communication
JSJ Security Services operate a 24-hour radio control room. This enables officers in the field to be in constant contract with the control room operator.
Communication between the JSJ SECURITY and clients has been set effectively by means of the following:

Operational Plan
(a) Management
Operational Managers holds formal meetings with clients, and detailed minutes are kept and acted upon. The report is presented to the clients for discussions and amended where Necessary. A special site procedure manual is compiled, outlining all duties to be preformed. Once the services commenced, daily contact is maintained between site manager and clients.
Areas of improvement if identified, are corrected, Performance evaluations are done regularly to improve, or discipline who preform poorly.
(b) Supervision Unit
Supervision is the first level of management and extension on the company Procedural and disciplinary code. It is at this level that the customer's requirements are integrated with the performance of the duties at guard level.
(c) Aims of supervision
To ensure that all officers are performing all duties as specified in the job Description.
To ensure that officers are alert and adhering to dress code.
To ensure that the image of the company and clients is held in highest regard at all times.
Act as an extension of communication between officers and management.
(d) Procedure
On arrival at the site he must determine whether officers are alert.
Sign him/herself in the occurrence book.
Inquire about the general situation.
Patrol with senior officer on site including spot-checking of doors and windows.
Evaluate performance of officers.
Notify control Room of the site situation.
Each site must be visited at least twice per shift Day shift supervisor is required.
(e) Handing over shift
The senior officer on site is responsible for the correct hand over of shifts. All keys, equipment and relevant documentation must be listed and signed in the occurrence Book.

JSJ SECURITY through out the period shall take and maintain a Public liability insurance policy against third party for R1500 000.00(one and a half million Rand) it may be extended up to R20 000 000 (Twenty million Rand) depending on the client's requirements.
