Overview

Being in the security industry for 24 years and with a well-established client base in excess of 2500, our management team prides itself as the leaders in the communities we are serving. J&M is a locally based (White River, Mpumalanga, South African) company, with offices in Middelburg, Sabie, Malelane and Nelspruit.

We realize that the security function within many organizations is often seen as either unavoidable evil or at best a poor relation between customer and service provider. It is also realized that it is impossible to make a building, still less a complete site or premises, inaccessible to the determined criminal - only an optimist with no practical experience would assert otherwise. Nevertheless, by far the greater numbers of entries are made by criminals who are able to do so simply because no thought has been given to all steps and methods to deter them.

The only medium, through which one can successfully address the problem of criminal activity within a given environment, is to achieve a condition where prospective perpetrators of crime would consider the risk too extreme for any significant gain. Given the general acceptance that the perpetrator cannot be stopped from entering the premises, logic dictates that the objectives of any defensive measures would be to make the attractive goods as inaccessible as possible.

The first objective of any preventative action must be to access the adequacy of existing structures; security measures and personnel as well as information supplied to management in their aim to cost effective and accurately manage security operations on a professional level.
