Duration of the Course is Four (4) Weeks or more
At S & S Training and Construction, we feel that is critically important that all our Learners leave the premises with new knowledge and insight. We therefore undertake not to release any Learner until full competence is established at no extra cost. |
• |
In the first week of the course, the learner will be introduced to the foundational knowledge of the Manual Arc welding process. This will be in the form of a work manual that the learner must complete before the practical work can commence. |
• |
During the second week, the learner will be performing practical exercises that were set in the manual. This is done to complete the practical element required set by the Unit Standard and also to complete the learners’ portfolio.
|
• |
The remaining two weeks are used for practical exercises involving the different position required as a welder. |
• |
