A SOLCO solar system comprising solar panels only, will improve your pool temperature by 5 to 7 degrees C warmer than normal during the normal swimming season and can vary up or down depending on various factors such as wind and night temperatures.

It is normally recommended that additional panels be added if luxury temperatures are required without the use of a blanket, however, requirements and situations vary and this is a persona) choice bearing in mind that the SOLCO system is modular and additional panels can be added at any time, roof space permitting. Please note a pool pumps at a rate of about 10 000 to 14 000 litres per hour, so the temperature increase is between 1 and 4 degrees C warmer than the pool water, depending on the time of day and the number of panels.
