DOMESTIC SERVICES

South African Airways is the largest domestic carrier in the country, providing a convenient service of some 575 flights a week to major and secondary centres. Two classes of travel are provided: Economy and Business Class.

The Local Connection

A route-network of tertiary centres throughout the country are serviced by South African Express and South African Airlink, affiliated to South African Airways. This route-network also offers the advantage of providing connecting flights to South African Airways' scheduled domestic and international flights.

As Voyager members, regular passengers on the domestic services of South African Express, South African Airlink and South African Airways afford themselves the opportunity to earn Voyager miles and other awards.

The Nerve Centre

Johannesburg International Airport is the site of the Operations Control Centre. Within this centre, international, domestic and technical divisions pool their resources, knowledge and expertise to sustain optimum procedures on all planned flights. They also deal efficiently with any disruptions to the ongoing schedule.

The Marketing Section offers exciting and rewarding programmes for people who want to explore the many scenic attractions of South Africa. Together with a number of hotels and car rental companies, South African Airways endeavours to bring domestic travel within easy reach of everyone.
